How to find a local Friends worship group

We are working to provide a comprehensive search engine for Friends worship groups in the United States. In the meantime, here are some of the best links for locating a Friends worship opportunity near you.

Many Yearly Meeting websites have contact information for their Meetings. Here are links to our FUM member yearly meetings. There are also comprehensive lists of all the yearly meetings in the world a of Yearly Meetings in the United States, organized by State.

For Friends worship opportunities in the United States:

The Quaker Life magazine meeting directory lists many (but not all) meetings for worship affiliated with Friends United Meeting organized by State.

QuakerFinder.org is an excellent search engine for unprogrammed Meetings in the United States and Canada. Most of these meetings are affiliated with Friends General Conference, but some are dually affiliated with Friends United Meeting, and some of those are pastoral. http://www.quaker.org/meetings.html provides a general list of many individual Friends meetings, organized by state.

The Friends World Committee for Consultation published the 2010 Friends Directory & Resource Guide which lists all worship groups in North America.

The Friends World Committee maintains a program, called the Wider Quaker Fellowship by which “friends of Friends” may have an informal affiliation and keep in touch through their program of quarterly mailings.
