Friends from Mooresville, Indiana, and High Point, North Carolina, sent 35 pounds of math books to the Belize Friends School in January.
North Carolina Yearly Meeting will be hosting their annual Vacation Bible School in Jamaica, July 20-29. The purpose of the VBS is to form relationships with Jamaicans, provide spiritual education and equip Jamaican Friends for leadership.
Richmond (Virginia) Friends Meeting held a workshop for parents on January 8: “Quaker Parenting: Integrating Quaker Values into Family Life.”
The Mt. Toby (Massachusetts) Friends community held a weekend retreat at Woolman Hill on January 27-29. The retreat provided an opportunity to connect more deeply and share about their practices and the life of the community.

West Richmond (Indiana) Friends Meeting raised funds to send almost 3,000 pounds of books to the library at Friends Theological College in Kaimosi, Kenya. These books were part of the collection of Clyde Johnson, who held nightly unprogrammed worship at his home near the Earlham School of Religion campus for more than 40 years. Clyde passed away in 2011. Josh Brown (pictured above) and David Edinger drove the books from the FUM office in Richmond to the central warehouse of the Theological Book Network in Michigan, an organization which collects books and distributes them to seminaries and colleges around the world.
